THORNHILL and LAVC Expanding Student Job Opportunies and Resources

We're looking for a part-time administrative/legal assistant to support two friendly and busy estate planning attorneys. 20-25 hrs/wk to start with opportunity for more hours if desired. Duties include inputting living trust estate plans; answering phones and e mails; organizing office; scheduling appointments, maintaining calendar; greeting and following up with clients; billing; filing; scanning; preparing files for meetings; maintaining contact lists, preparing for seminars and more.

Immediate Opening Description

We're looking for a part-time administrative/legal assistant to support two friendly and busy estate planning attorneys. 20-25 hrs/wk to start with opportunity for more hours if desired. • Professional with experience in a busy office setting or recent graduate from a strong paralegal program
• Detail oriented, fast learner and self-starter
• Willing to self-study to learn our business
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Very organized and able to multi task
• Excellent people skills as well as great speaking voice and phone skills
• Proficient in MS Office and typical office processes (Quickbooks is a plus)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Dependable and flexible - able to work occasional evenings and/or Saturdays
• Notary license a plus (we may provide licensing course)
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Law office experience a plus, but not required
