Job Summary

Boutique Beverly Hills Intellectual Property law firm is seeking an IP assistant or paralegal. We are looking for the right candidate for a full time position to assist the firm's attorneys as well as be responsible for maintaining the firm's transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain exposure to all aspects of intellectual property law.

Job Description/Requirements:

- New client intake phone calls

- Prepare documents for Patent, Trademark and Copyright applications and complete prosecution through issuance as assigned

- Research USPTO procedures and practices

- Excellent phone, communication, and correspondence skills are a must

- Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills required

- E-File with USPTO and Federal Courts

- Maintain attorney calendar

- Other administrative duties (scheduling appointments, composing correspondence, assisting with marketing, screening incoming calls, etc.)

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Legal experience is required, however IP experience preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred but not required, the firm will train. Please do not apply if you are in law school or planning to attend law school. All potential candidates must pass in-house exam and background check. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.
