As of about a year ago we began referring to HR as SHR or (Strategic Human Resources) as we feel this term and it's meaning(s) are the key to advancement in this career. Human Resources in reality may be referred to as the policy and systems division of the executive management. So where does the Strategic (S) come in? Well, in one instance you can say that the HR department play as strategic partners that contribute to the development as well as accomplishments of the entire organization-wide business plan and objectives of any firm.

Strategic Specific

On a more specific note, and one we have exclusively introduced and feature as being highly advantageous, is that the term 'Strategic' pertains to what we have been featuring in our more recent articles as a form of Familiarization that you include as a creative addition to your bio/resume. To expand on; familiarization with the specific and precise career category you go into, such as Entertainment Industry, Maritime Industry, and specifically with reference here in this article, the Aerospace or Space industry.

Diplomacy with SHR is also a factor as while the SHR Manager might be serving the executive agendas in fine fashion, there are frequent potentials for a 'riff', so to speak, with other departmental managers on various issues.
